This policy explains how FR8 Technologies LLC ("FreightQ," "we," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the FreightQ service, the FreightQ mobile app, and our public website.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use FreightQ, we may collect:
- Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, organization, role, account identifier, and authentication or session information.
- Freight and work information, such as assigned trips, loads, origin and destination details, mileage, status updates, and related operational information supplied by your organization.
- Statement and account information, such as driver statements, compensation, deductions, maintenance balances, and related account records.
- Documents and user content, including photos, scans, PDFs, paperwork, support messages, and other files you choose to submit through FreightQ.
- Device and technical information, such as a push notification token, device platform, app version, IP address, request URL, timestamp, and security events needed to operate and protect the service.
The mobile app does not request access to your precise device location, contacts, or microphone. FreightQ does not use third-party advertising trackers or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the FreightQ service
- Authenticate users and manage authorized account access
- Display trips, loads, statements, balances, and account information
- Process paperwork uploads and deliver push notifications
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the service
- Detect misuse, troubleshoot problems, and comply with law
How we share information
We may share information with the organization that provides or manages your FreightQ account and its authorized personnel; with service providers that support hosting, storage, authentication, notifications, security, email, and other operations; when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
We do not sell personal information, share it with data brokers, or use it for targeted advertising.
Storage, retention, and security
Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, satisfy customer and operational requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Retention can vary by record type and by the instructions of the organization that manages your account.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can choose whether to upload photos or documents and can manage push notification permissions in your device settings. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to applicable law, record-retention requirements, and the instructions of the organization that manages your account. Your organization may be the appropriate first point of contact for account or employment-related records.
Children's privacy
FreightQ is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Public website
The public website does not currently include a contact form or intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies. If you use an email link, the information you choose to send is handled by your email provider and ours. Hosting and security providers may process standard technical data to deliver and protect the site.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as FreightQ changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date above.
